The Food
We bought a Tandoori Mixed Grill Platter on the owner’s referral as a starter. Minutes later, a heavily packed platter still hissing and steaming on a grill plate landed before us, including a collection of tandoori poultry, poultry tikka, lamb chops, and some type of Indian kebab.
The tandoori lamb, specifically, is unforgettably delicious. Full of tamarind and mint chutney sauces for dipping, my impression of the food had set the bench fairly high for the rest of the meal.
For the main, my partner and I determined to select one ‘secure’ dish: Butter Poultry, and one experimental recipe: Goat Curry. I was delighted and somewhat worried about the goat curry, having never consumed a goat in my life. The curry is made in a conventional Bhunao design, where the meat is prepared with juices. It became one of the nicest Top Indian Restaurant in Melbourne curries and Indian food I have consumed today. The Butter Hen was also top quality and was excellent with the vibrant Saffron Rice I purchased with it.
Tandoori Blazes have carefully matched their wine listing to their regularly advancing food selection. The French white I had with my dish was an excellent example of their selection excellence. Delightfully light, it acted as a sublime enhancement to the dish.
The coming with Garlic Basil Naan was a tasty spin on my usual Naan bread and a delicious enhancement to the dish.
Having eaten virtually to the point of rupturing, my other half insisted we try the dessert. He had his heart set on Mango Kulfi and Gulab Jamun, so I consented. Currently, I have attempted ‘Gulab Jamun’ on several occasions. For those who have never heard of it, it is primarily a fried doughnut in sugar syrup flavored with cardamom.
In my past experiences with Gulab Jamun, it was typically gluggy, dense, and sickeningly sweet. As when my hubby bought it at Tandoori Blazes, I dubiously awaited its arrival. The Gulab Jamun that showed up before us was nothing like my previous experiences. It was cozy, light, and luxuriously coated in gently flavored syrup. I nearly needed to limit my partner from ordering a second helping. The Mango Kulfi (assumed love-child of ice cream & sorbet) was one-of-a-kind with a fragile but genuine Indian Food Melbourne flavor I chose, cardamom.
Every recipe has such genuine flavor, however not at all subduing the means some Indian food can be.
The Amusement – Stomach Dancer Extravaganza
Every Saturday evening around 8 pm at Tandoori Blazes, you will find a belly dancer drinking it left, right, and center. Having never seen a belly dancing performance live, I saw that my booking was around this time and that it was well worth the initiative.
When the stubborn belly dancer appeared on the scene, I felt like I had dropped directly into a Bollywood motion picture. Finished with fan-like wings, she danced her means around the whole dining establishment and also took care of pushing a few of the customers to have a dance with her, although some of them didn’t seem to need much persuasion. It was all very stylish and also very enjoyable. Being rather of a stick pest on the dancing flooring myself, I will forever remain amazed at just how one little individual can move their body promptly and in many methods all at once.
With a warm and friendly household atmosphere, Tandoori Flames almost offered me the feeling that I went to a wedding party for a bosom friend or relative. Kids have not hushed away on edge; there is a charitable dancing flooring main to the space where several little imps frolicked the evening away. However, there is still sufficient room for the peaceful couple on the edge looking right into each other’s eyes not to feel disturbed.
